The Free Frank New Philadelphia Historic Preservation Foundation unveiled on June 24, 2005, the 3D plans and scale model of the future The Free Frank New Philadelphia Historic Frontier Town. The architectural plans and model were created in painstaking detail based on the historical research in the critically acclaimed scholarly book on the life and history of Free Frank and New Philadelphia, Illinois entitled Free Frank: A Black Pioneer on the Antebellum Frontier published by the University Press of Kentucky, 1983 and 1995. Coming soon any visitor to this website will be able to take a virtual tour through the restored historic frontier town.
