The Foundation is committed to preserving and bringing to life the architecture of New Philadelphia in its restoration of the frontier town. Moreover, Dr. Juliet E.K. Walker’s scholarly work on Free Frank and New Philadelphia illustrated the historical significance and provided the scholarly and theoretical framework that enabled a grant to be awarded for an archaeological study of New Philadelphia. As a result the Foundation will build the Free Frank Architecture and Archaeological Center as part of the Frontier Museum.
